 PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION DROP BOX

The Police Department has installed a Prescription Medication Drop Box in the lobby of the PD, available for public use during and after business hours.  It is a safe, secure, anonymous and environmentally friendly way to dispose of unused prescription medication. Proper drug disposal is a high priority for our Police Department and this is offered as a free service to Village of East Troy residents.

The Drop Box is only for disposal of unused prescription and over-the-counter medication. Please leave medications in their original containers if possible or place them in a sealed zip-top plastic bag. Labels on medicines may be removed to remain anonymous.

We are UNABLE to accept sharps or needles, inhalers, hydrogen peroxide, aerosol cans, household waste/creams/ointments, infectious/biohazard materials, personal care products or street drugs (ex. cocaine, heroin, marijuana).
