Running for Local Office

If you are considering running for a Village Board position:

  • Complete the EL-162 Declaration of Candidacy form and CF-1 Registration Statement form.
  • Submit these completed forms to the Village Clerk, 2015 Energy Dr. The Clerk will then be able to provide current versions of other required forms and deadlines.
  • Nomination Papers MAY NOT be circulated prior to December 1 and MUST be returned to the Clerk's Office by Tuesday, January 7, 2025 by 5:00 pm to be eligible for inclusion on the Spring 2025 ballot.
