Compost Site
The Town of East Troy's Compost Site, W1229 Hwy L, is open to residents of the Town of East Troy, the Town of Troy, and The Village of East Troy.
Schedule and Hours of Operation:
Open every Saturday from April 5th till December weather permitting.
Open every Friday from September till December weather permitting.
Open every Saturday from April 5th till December weather permitting.
Open every Friday from September till December weather permitting.
Hours of operation are Fridays 7:30 am till 2:30 pm, and Saturdays 9 am till 2 pm.
Permitted Materials
Grass-clippings, leaves, flowers, and yard waste.
Specific Requirements
Brush or branches no bigger than 6 inches in diameter.
No stumps of any kind.
MUST empty all bags and take them with you.
Place material on appropriate piles .
No building material refuse.
No Lot clearing materials.
All brush must be hand unloaded.
Please maintain a 5 mph speed limit.
ANY misuse of site may result in its closure or the barring of the offending party from using the site.
